Lot’s of people struggle with their thoughts. Finding themselves over thinking, sometimes even being worried by their own thoughts.
For peace of mind, it’s essential to learn that your thoughts are your brain’s way of working through what’s going on in your world.
Thoughts will always “pop” into your mind & there’s nothing you can do to stop them.
Even those that try to constrain their thoughts are fighting a losing battle.
Be intrigued by your thoughts, allow them to come into your mind without hinderance. There will be reasons why your mind is thinking/processing these ideas.
It’s a great way to glimpse what your mind is focusing on. You can learn to influence your thoughts, especially by considering what you chose to do in your waking moments. What you chose to attend to & dedicate time to.
Even if occasionally you get some “odd” or even “disturbing” thoughts, just recall these are ideas. Not a call to action. You don’t need to act on what you think, no one else knows your thoughts unless you share them.
You’ve no need to over think or worry about your thoughts. Let them be of interest to you, acknowledge we have multiple competing ideas on what we think. Be mindful when you chose to act, as that’s when you get to demonstrate how you’d like to live your life.
