With Tiers, lockdowns and all manner of unknowns, it’s easy to be overwhelmed.
Take time to check over the “rules” that currently govern where you live, it’ll only take a few mins, gov.uk has a postcode checker. Then the confusion will start to drop away.
After that, start to get creative. What can you do to make your situation liveable? Not just bearable, but liveable.
You can still walk and talk with friends, you might still be able to meet up indoors. Don’t take these things for granted. You need to make the most of what opportunities exist to keep your wellbeing afloat.
It’s getting dark, so if working from home, work an hour later in the day and take a walk, jog, gym session etc at lunchtime. It’s time to get lateral. If you can work from the office, do that as often as you can. The balance of work and home is critical.
If there’s an opportunity to meet up with others, take it. You don’t know when you might not be able to. It’ll be worth the investment in your time and effort.
Hopefully this winter period will pass with minimal Covid related upset. Winter is tough at the best of times, so add whatever sparkle, light and warmth you can, when you can.
Stay safe & thoughtful.
